Terms of Service

The short version

AdaptMyCV is a tool that helps you build a CV from scratch, restyle one you already have, or adapt it to a specific job description using AI. Don't use it to fabricate qualifications, scrape data, or harm anyone. You're responsible for what you submit to employers — we're not. You can preview for free and pay only to download a CV or go unlimited; see the refund terms below.

The service

AdaptMyCV offers three tiers:

• Create — build a CV from scratch in the editor, free of charge.
• Restyle — upload an existing PDF and we parse it with AI and re-render it in a clean template. $0.60 per CV (3 coins).
• Adapt — tailor your CV to a specific job description through our full AI pipeline. Free to run and preview; you pay $4 to download a single CV, or it's included in a 7-day Pass or Monthly plan.

Pricing and payments

AdaptMyCV offers three ways to pay via Stripe: pay per CV (a one-time charge to download a single adaptation), a one-time 7-day unlimited Pass, or a Monthly subscription for unlimited use. The Monthly subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel — you can cancel anytime from your account page and keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. The 7-day Pass is a one-time charge and does not renew. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are charged in US dollars (USD); your bank may convert and charge a small FX fee.

Refunds. Because CVs and documents are generated on demand, a paid download is final once the file has been produced — you expressly agree to immediate performance and waive the 14-day withdrawal right for that item, as EU law permits for digital content. You can cancel the Monthly plan (or let a Pass expire) at any time; we don't refund time that has already elapsed. If our pipeline fails (e.g. the parse breaks or the AI errors out), the charge is reversed automatically — you don't need to ask. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use AdaptMyCV.
• You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Don't share it with anyone else.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account settings, or by emailing us.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically extract data from AdaptMyCV.
• Submit automated requests or run bots against the service.
• Upload CVs that contain discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise illegal content.
• Impersonate someone else — including using a real person's identity, photo, or employment history without permission.
• Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or probe for security vulnerabilities in the service (responsible disclosure is welcome — email us).

If you break these rules, we can suspend or close your account without notice and without refund.

AI output disclaimer

AdaptMyCV uses large language models to rewrite, restructure, and adapt CVs. We don't invent employment history — every line is grounded against your real CV, and an honesty check flags anything the model can't support. But adaptation still rephrases your experience to match a job description and maximize ATS scoring. You are responsible for what you submit to an employer. Review the output, fact-check it, and only send something you're comfortable standing behind.

We don't guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that any specific CV will get you an interview, a job, or even a reply. AI output can contain mistakes. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in generated CVs, for employers rejecting you, or for any decisions you make based on what AdaptMyCV produces.

Service availability

We try to keep AdaptMyCV up and fast, but we don't offer a formal uptime guarantee. The service is provided "as is" and may have downtime, bugs, slowdowns, or occasional regressions. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, abuse the service, charge back a payment in bad faith, or do something that puts other users or the platform at risk. When that happens, your generated CVs and stored data are deleted along with the account.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, AdaptMyCV's total liability to you for anything related to the service is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost opportunities, lost income, or any harm arising from CVs you sent to employers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland and, where applicable, the European Union. Any disputes go to the competent courts in Poland, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes, and for material ones we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use AdaptMyCV after a change means you accept the new terms.
